Tempolo support
Tempolo is a step pace coach for iPhone: it tells you, before the day ends, what to do right now to hit your step goal. If something is not working, or you have a question or an idea, write to us.
support@tempolo.app
We read every message and answer from the same address. Please mention your app version (Settings › Version) and iOS version; the "Write to us" button in the app adds them for you and nothing else.
My steps are not showing
Tempolo reads your steps from the motion sensor and from the Health app. If either permission is off, the screen stays empty.
- Open iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Motion & Fitness and make sure Tempolo is on.
- Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Tempolo and allow reading Steps.
- Come back to Tempolo. It picks up where you left off and re-imports the last 60 days from the Health app on its own.
On a fresh install with no walking yet, the Today screen shows a short hint instead of numbers. Take a few steps and it fills in.
The widget shows old data
Every Tempolo widget shows the time of its last reading. iOS decides how often a widget may refresh, so that time can grow to a while. Tap the time line on the small or medium widget and it refreshes right away, without opening the app. Opening the app refreshes every widget too.
If a widget stays empty and says "Open the app once", do that: widgets read the app's last snapshot, and a brand-new install has none yet.
Notifications
Tempolo sends at most two notifications a day, only in the afternoon and evening, only when you are behind and the day can still be saved. On a good day there are none, and once the goal is met it stays silent. If you asked for notifications in the app but nothing arrives, check Settings › Notifications › Tempolo on your iPhone; the app shows a single line in its own Settings when the system permission is off.
Goal and wake window
- Changing the goal: use the daily goal wheel in Tempolo's Settings. The new goal applies to today's curve immediately.
- Wake and bedtime: also in Settings. Your pace through the day is calculated within that window; a bedtime past midnight is supported.
- Week start: Monday by default, Sunday if you prefer, in Settings.
Subscriptions and purchases
Tempolo PRO is sold through the App Store and managed by Apple.
- Manage or cancel: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or on your iPhone under Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- New phone or reinstall: tap "Restore purchases" in Tempolo's Settings.
- Refunds: handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Plans could not load: this needs an internet connection once; try again in a moment.
The full conditions are in the Terms of Use.
Your data
Your step data never leaves your iPhone. There is no server, no account and no sign-in. Deleting the app deletes everything Tempolo stored; your step history stays in the Health app, where you control it. The only things that ever leave the device are purchase validation data (through RevenueCat) and the e-mails you choose to send us. To have a purchase record deleted, write to support@tempolo.app. Details: Privacy Policy.
